Date Shake
26.05.24
Smooth, comforting, sweet and frothy. Everything you’ve ever wished for in a date! It’s especially nourishing for the reproductive tissues which, as the last of the 7 types of tissue, only get whatever nutrients are left over after the others have taken what they need.

Instructions
- Soak 3-4 dates in water overnight.
- Add a good shake of cardamom and a pinch of saffron to a cup of organic cow’s milk and slowly bring to the boil.
- Blend together with the soaked dates et voilà.
Pro Tip
Forgotten to soak your dates overnight? Put them in a cup of boiled water for a few minutes and/or use Medjool instead.
Bonus Points
I heard an Ayurvedic doctor say to always bring milk to the boil three times.
Note
If you’re not used to taking so much dairy, try using half water and half milk.

Spice Tin
30.05.24
The spice tin is a handy addition to your kitchen cupboard. In general, you fry whole seeds in oil before adding whatever is to be cooked. And add ground spices towards the end of cooking.

Cooling Tea
17.07.24
For when those nighttime flashes kick in!
- Measure 50g fennel seeds, 50g cardamom seeds, 25g rose petals and 25g coriander seeds into a glass jar.
- Put a teaspoon of the mixture into 2 cups of water and reduce down to 1 cup.
- If you don’t have time for this, put a teaspoon of mixture into a 50-80 ml thermos flask and let it brew for an hour.
- Have this after dinner to cool the body before bed if that’s when the sweats tend to happen. Or drink it throughout the day.
